PADI Tec 40 Diver

Take your first real step into the world of technical diving with the PADI Tec 40 Diver course. This program is designed for experienced recreational divers who want to move beyond no-stop diving and begin learning the skills, mindset, and procedures required for technical decompression diving.

Technical diving requires a higher level of preparation because, in an emergency, reaching the surface immediately is not always possible. During the Tec 40 course, you will learn how to manage these additional risks through proper planning, equipment configuration, gas management, teamwork, and emergency procedures.

Start Your Technical Diving Journey

The PADI Tec 40 Diver course is the perfect starting point for divers who want to expand their limits safely and responsibly. It gives you the foundation to continue toward Tec 45 and Tec 50, while developing a more disciplined and precise approach to diving.

To enroll in the PADI Tec 40 Diver course, you must be at least 18 years old and have the following certifications or equivalent experience:

• Advanced Open Water Diver certification or equivalent

• Enriched Air Nitrox Diver certification

• Deep Diver certification or proof of at least 10 dives to 30 meters / 100 feet or deeper

• Minimum of 30 logged dives

• Rescue Diver certification is recommended

You must also provide a current medical statement signed by a physician confirming that you are fit to dive.

Two days.

• Pick-up: 7:30 a.m.
• Return to Cancún: Between 4:00 – 5:00 p.m.

• Bookings cancelled due to weather such us major storms or high wind speed, acts of mother nature or circunstances beyond our control will be rescheduled or subject to a full 100% refund.
• 100% refund if you cancel with up to 72 hours in advance of your scheduled activity.
• 50% refund if you cancel between 24 and 72 hours in advance of your activity.
• If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled activity, no refund will be provided.
• There is no reschedule option within 24 hours of your activity.
• No show for any reason of your scheduled dives or course, including: ill health, flight delays/cancelations, hangovers, late arrivals; no refund will be issued, non-attendance incurs charges that have to be fully covered.
• Refunds do not apply if you decide to interrupt your activity for any reason after it starts, including: seasickness, fear, ill health, ear problems/equalization issues, etc.
• Failure to disclose medical conditions and/or refusal to comply with sufficient safety times before flying informed in the activity, will result in your dive being cancelled with no refund.
