PADI Scuba Diver Certification in Cancun
If you’re eager to begin your underwater adventures but not quite ready to commit to the full PADI Open Water Diver course, the PADI Scuba Diver certification is the perfect choice. It equips you with the core diving skills and knowledge you need to explore shallow waters under the supervision of a PADI Professional, making it an excellent stepping stone toward becoming a fully certified diver.

Course Structure

1. Knowledge Development (Academic Session)
   You’ll learn the basic principles of scuba diving—such as dive safety, equipment usage, and underwater communication—through engaging study materials and guided instruction.
2. Confined Water Dives (Pool Training)
   Next, you’ll head to a pool or a similar controlled environment where you’ll practice essential scuba techniques, from assembling your gear to managing buoyancy. This hands-on training helps you build confidence before moving on to open water.
3. Open Water Dives
   Finally, you’ll take what you’ve learned into the ocean. Under the direct supervision of your PADI Instructor, you’ll complete two open water dives where you’ll apply your newfound skills while experiencing the beauty of Cancun’s underwater world.

Worldwide Recognition
Upon successfully completing your training dives, you’ll receive your PADI Scuba Diver certification, recognized worldwide. This means you can continue your education toward the PADI Open Water Diver certification—or simply enjoy guided dives at a maximum recommended depth of 12 meters (40 feet) with a PADI Professional.

It provides comprehensive training, greater depth limits, and a globally recognized certification—giving you the freedom to dive independently and explore even more of the ocean’s wonders! Anyone with asthma, heart or brain conditions, high blood pressure, lung lesions, diabetes, epilepsy, or a history of surgery within the past year must provide a medical clearance signed by a physician specializing in their condition.

Please remember that you should wait 18–24 hours after diving before flying.

Duration: 2 days

• First day: From 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. you will do pool skill practice in the morning (half day).
• Second day: From 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. you will do 2 dives, first dive at MUSA Underwater Museum and Second dive in a reef.

Reinforcement will be done in the pool during the course if necessary.

• Bookings cancelled due to weather such us major storms or high wind speed, acts of mother nature or circunstances beyond our control will be rescheduled or subject to a full 100% refund.
• 100% refund if you cancel with up to 72 hours in advance of your scheduled activity.
• 50% refund if you cancel between 24 and 72 hours in advance of your activity.
• If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled activity, no refund will be provided.
• There is no reschedule option within 24 hours of your activity.
• No show for any reason of your scheduled dives or course, including: ill health, flight delays/cancelations, hangovers, late arrivals; no refund will be issued, non-attendance incurs charges that have to be fully covered.
• Refunds do not apply if you decide to interrupt your activity for any reason after it starts, including: seasickness, fear, ill health, ear problems/equalization issues, etc.
• Failure to disclose medical conditions and/or refusal to comply with sufficient safety times before flying informed in the activity, will result in your dive being cancelled with no refund.
