PADI Tec 50 Diver

Reach the final level of the core PADI TecRec progression with the PADI Tec 50 Diver course. This advanced technical diving program is designed for trained Tec divers who are ready to plan and execute extended-range dives with multiple decompression stops and more complex gas management.

At this level, technical diving requires strong discipline, excellent awareness, precise teamwork, and the ability to manage emergencies calmly and effectively. The Tec 50 course helps you develop the knowledge, procedures, and confidence needed for more demanding technical dives.

Course Requirements

To enroll in the PADI Tec 50 Diver course, you must be at least 18 years old and have the following certifications or equivalent experience:

• PADI Tec 45 Diver certification or equivalent
• Rescue Diver certification or equivalent
• Proof of CPR and First Aid training within the previous two years, when required
• Minimum of 100 logged dives or 75 hours underwater

You must also provide a current medical statement signed by a physician confirming that you are fit to dive.

Complete Your TecRec Progression

The PADI Tec 50 Diver course is the final step in the standard PADI Tec 40–45–50 progression. It prepares you to plan and execute more complex technical dives with greater independence, precision, and responsibility.

For divers who are passionate about exploration, challenge, and advanced dive planning, Tec 50 is a powerful milestone in the journey toward becoming a highly capable technical diver.

To enroll in the PADI Tec 50 Diver course, you must be at least 18 years old and have the following certifications or equivalent experience:

• PADI Tec 45 Diver certification or equivalent
• Rescue Diver certification or equivalent
• Proof of CPR and First Aid training within the previous two years
• Minimum of 50 logged dives
• At least 10 logged dives deeper than 30 meters / 100 feet

You must also provide a current medical statement signed by a physician confirming that you are fit to dive.

Two days.

• Pick-up: 7:30 a.m.
• Return to Cancún: Between 4:00 – 5:00 p.m.

• Bookings cancelled due to weather such us major storms or high wind speed, acts of mother nature or circunstances beyond our control will be rescheduled or subject to a full 100% refund.
• 100% refund if you cancel with up to 72 hours in advance of your scheduled activity.
• 50% refund if you cancel between 24 and 72 hours in advance of your activity.
• If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled activity, no refund will be provided.
• There is no reschedule option within 24 hours of your activity.
• No show for any reason of your scheduled dives or course, including: ill health, flight delays/cancelations, hangovers, late arrivals; no refund will be issued, non-attendance incurs charges that have to be fully covered.
• Refunds do not apply if you decide to interrupt your activity for any reason after it starts, including: seasickness, fear, ill health, ear problems/equalization issues, etc.
• Failure to disclose medical conditions and/or refusal to comply with sufficient safety times before flying informed in the activity, will result in your dive being cancelled with no refund.
